Don’t yell at me – I’m new to this

Ok, hi.

Sorry, if I get anything wrong. I’m new to this whole blogging thing, and my keyboard is dodgy so I have to type really slow so I don’t miss any letters. I should probably explain now that I am not the usual writer. Don’t panic. I havn’t kidnapped her. Niether has Uncle Owen (yet). Nobody has. She’s not dead niether, which is a bit of a relief. My name is Tipy. I’m also a kind of writer, so Bethonie has been so kind as to let me post on here and allow me to take advantage of her whole 3 followers (that’s the face I pulled too).

Before I jump in and start posting, I thought I’d do one of those About Me posts, just to start off.

  • My real name’s not Tipy, but I hate my real name
  • This keyboard is really annoying me
  • I don’t actually write stories, I create characters
  • I’m the most socially awkward thing I know
  • I don’t like cows

So, that is me. I hope to be posting soon about my amazing creations.

Hey, I’m back

First things, first. I’m back. Hello. I know I’ve been gone a while. Sorry for the lack of commitment on my part but I’m back now. There is a reason I’ve been gone for so long. I wasn’t just sat playing on games or nothing. First thing first there’s school. Last year of school and everything, there’s a lot to think about – school work, post 16, keeping your friends, shifting the pieces of rubbish that were once your friends but are now dog poo, trying to keep up with your extra curricular so that you can get into post 16. Yeah, I was keeping busy and that was just school.

I’ve also been doing a readathon. I’ve been trying to support the charity Catch22 (which is an amazing charity and if anyone wants to do anything for a charity, this one deserves some support because it helps people to get their lives back) but, due to communication issues, it was becoming a problem, so I did this readathon. I read three books – Long Lankin (which I had to read for the extra curricular), Catch-22 (which is so funny, I would recommend it to anyone who wants something challenging to read. It is now my new favourite book) and Kill All Enemies (which is an amazing book which is about really what the charity is about). Well, I finished reading the last book about 10 minuets ago, so I’ll do some quick reviews of them later. All three books are amazing, and I’ve raised loads of money for a really good cause so I am now the owner of a chuffed face.

Finally, I JUST REALISED ITS ONLY 2 MONTHS TILL THE END OF JANUARY.

So what? you might say. Well, basically, I’ve got about 4 writing competitions for that time, 2 of which I haven’t even started yet, so I’ve been busy with that one too.

But, enough moaning. Time for some writing to be done.

Help! For you this time, not for me

OK, I don’t usually do this because I’m not an expert really and I don’t want to sound cocky but, if you’re looking for insperation this blog seems to do it for me:

Its about weird natural things that shouldn’t happen but have. It’s weird. Good for like sci-fi, I’d say.

A Small Note About Edward’s Story

This is an author’s note about Edward’s story.

Most of the time, you will most commenly find Edward’s story is writing in the first draft, which means that it can be very much improved, which means that comments of improvement ideas are very much appreciated. Also, as you may have just guessed, I can not spell and do not commenly use the spell checker, so that the stor’s are probably commenly not very readable due to the spelling. Sorry about that.

Thanks.

Action plan – Step-by-step to planning to publish

OK, so I know this book is going to be a massive hit, be made into a full series of films with a TV spin of BUT I have to get there first. I always knew it was going to be along time before I could even consider publishing straight away, but I looked it up and it’s just as long as I thought it was, so I took the curtosy of writing a plan of action. This will probably change abit as I go but here is my step by step to publishing.
